Of course I don’t always have to travel to Paris or New York to find nice stuff for my home. Sometimes good things are just a stone’s throw away from my home. Like this lovely interior shop “LADOUG”. I found this place during a walk through the Gärtnerplatz area in Munich, which is kind of a hot spot for young fashion designers, interior shops and some of the coolest bars and clubs in town. So, what I like most about “LADOUG” is, that it doesn’t look like a furniture shop but more like the living or eating room of an apartment. And further the owner Andrea Douglas has such a great feeling for unique pieces that you literally want everything to be part of your place: starting from big chunky candles, lamps with silk lampshades, antique silver pots to old wooden coffee tables that Andrea is restoring herself, as well as chairs or even bigger furniture. Once you have entered the shop, it is hard to leave. Because it just feels so familiar and cosy in there. Just like at home.
