Camera ready

8. January 2012

When looking around for Christmas presents couple of weeks ago, I found these awesome new gadgets: Lomo cameras! Two students from Vienna discovered an old Russian spy camera the LOMO LC-A while traveling Prague in the early 90ies and were excited about the retro looking, colourful and exceptional photos - lomography was born! It took them a lot of work, convincing a Russian factory not to stop the production of LOMO cameras and some time to make lomography popular all over the world. To make it more clear what I’m talking about, here are some pictures from lomography.de that were shot from LOMO fans all over the world:

With exposition, taking couple of pictures one after another without turning the film further – the shopping assistant explained tons of ways to me how to create special effects on the photos and I really couldn’t remember all of them – you can make your lomography photos unique and give them crazy optics. There are a lot of camera models to choose from, here are my favourites:

The Lomo LC-A+ White Special Edition

The Diana F+ – True Blue

The Fisheye No.2 – Vibrant Orange
Pick your favourite camera, one of the many, many, many analogue films, take loads of awesome photos and experience lomography! All cameras available on lomography.de
